Heather Oakley

I have a degree in interior design and years of experience in retail sales – including furniture, fabrics and other home decor products – and in administrative and marketing positions. Once I came to Help-U-Sell, I worked to become licensed as a real estate agent, and I thoroughly enjoy my new career choice. In real estate there’s always something new going on! We constantly meet new people, and there are challenges and questions to be answered on a daily basis. It keeps my job fresh and exciting. The main part of my role at Help-U-Sell is to maintain our listings. I really enjoy seeing all the homes that are for sale and interacting with our clients to market their properties. I also work hard on our monthly magazine, trying to ensure it is an effective tool for buyers, sellers and for our Help-U-Sell business as a whole. But, my favorite part of the job is my co-workers...we really get along well, and we have a good time at work. It’s really great to have a job that you enjoy. As a real estate agent, I am constantly taking continuing education courses. But truthfully, I find that most of the best learning opportunities are in the day-to-day business interactions with our clients and with other people involved in the industry. I am always learning a lot from builders, mortgage brokers, inspectors, attorneys and other professionals I deal with daily. In my personal time, I love to read, and like many women, I love to shop. I’m involved in my church and attend a weekly Bible study. Otherwise, I spend time with my family and friends. Because I’m a Greensboro native, most of my family is still in the area. I am always available to help you with any real estate question you may have.
